Fractions!

Hello friends! Please use the comments section below to post an answer to the following question. This activity should take place at home. You have one week to complete the assignment. Mom and Dad are welcome to help you with this activity! Below is the question and my example:

1. Can you think of a fraction that you find in your everyday life? When did you see the fraction and how did you use it?

Answer: The other night I was eating cake with my family. The cake was cut into eight pieces. We only ate five pieces of cake, so I knew that we had 3/8 of the cake left and we ate 5/8 of the cake! It was a real life example of fractions that I enjoyed learning about!

I am excited to read your posts and see what kind of fractions you can find in your life! This project is due on February 20. This gives you an entire week to complete the project so get started now and have fun!
